Thanks David. That was indeed the problem. From your reply, I'd say this situation had stung you too:)

I can see how another verison of the form got copied into another folder by accident and caused my nightmare. Its a problem that I have with XP when I drag and drop files in Explorer. If I select a lot of files and drag them to a target folder, the latter is sometimes difficult to see because the transparent effect doesn't always indicate to me where they are going to be dropped. To make things worse, I do the drag and drop from my floppy drive (yes this is an ancient method of backup isn't it) and its a bit slower to react to all the XP GUI stuff.
