Environmental differences are just the first thing to suspect when things work one way from the command window and another way in the actual code.

I almost never to drag/drop operations on files, especially on the network it's too darn easy to drop in the wrong place. I select the files, and use then rightclick menu to copy or cut the files, go to the destination folder and rightclick and paste
