Well, you still haven't sold me on your opinion, but I think it's beginning to get to a point where it's just semantics.
I suggest we agree to slightly-disagree, and pool all of our various "two cents" along with Gordan and buy ourselves a little something for the holidays.

They've done a disservice to their readers if the only options they offer are bicycles and aircraft carriers. As I said elsewhere, Access, Alpha, askSam, FileMaker, etc. are going to choke a company long before they need or can afford a high-end DBMS. There are excellent solutions in the mid-range for many apps.
