Adam,
Just a point of clarification... the "they" here is UT management and not the VFP Team.
Also, I take your point but must add that I really have never seen a perfectly worded/constructed survey anywhere. There is always something that I (and if not me, someone else for sure) can take issue with.
Even a poll with only a Yes/No choice for the question "Should W declare war on Iraq?" is loaded. I wouldn't participate in such a question, yet many many do (just watch the news).
cheers

>Obviously, No Name Change is one of the VFP team's possible choices, along with Zorro. But if they're going to ask *us*, why don't they just put:...

>A. Rename to Zorro
>B. Rename to Batman & Robin's Professional Datacentric Development Cave
>C. Let the VFP team decide.

>Then of course all the .NET stuff is in option "C", too. ... It's a sneaky little survey, that's all. If I take a survey that says, should we (1) Go to war today or (2) Put off war for a month or (3) Let W decide -- that's a sneaky little survey. It isn't even *trying* to have all the relevant choices (including, "No War", of course.)

>Luckily this is not a matter of particular import, and as for me -- I'm okay with the B&R D.D. Cave. It might add the word "spelunk" to the advertising, which is always a very good thing. (It is also a very good thing that the VFPdevelopers do not include W! Imagine a system in which logic worked differently depending upon your site-license.)
