In the case of your example we are not allowed a choice of No! The decision was made long ago and it is simply a matter of time before we have enough supplies within the theater of action before all hell breaks loose.

One thing the United States is good at is logistics. Without good logistics you cannot hope to fight and win a war. Somehow I think the world should have advanced beyond this mentality. Oh well.
