Hi all,

I've created a report that has seven columns across, and that part of the report is working just fine. What I can't figure out is how to print some other detail in a page-wide band above the columnar information. For example (for each line of detail in the table):

This is some information about the current record,
and it spans across the entire page.

Col-1 Col-2 Col-3 Col-4 Col-5 Col-6 Col-7
Info Info Info Info Info Info Info
---

I can't get anything to span columns before the columnar info prints. I can only get the top info to stay in the first column, and it won't go very far across the page. I end up with something like this:

---
This is some
information
about the current
record, and it
stays stuck in
the first column.

Col-1 Col-2 Col-3 Col-4 Col-5 Col-6 Col-7
Info Info Info Info Info Info Info
---

Is there any way to accomplish what I'm trying to do?
