I love this time of year. Studios are squeezing out their best movies, just before the Oscare cut-off.

Gangs of New York lives up to the hype. Although Cameron Diaz isn't bad in the movie, her role is a pointless distraction. Dicaprio is good, Daniel Day-Lewis is fantastic. Bill the Butch will become this decades most remembered character (ala Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver, Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction, "Rick" Blaine in Casablanca)

Two Towers (LOTR) is a good as or better than the first. Less romance, less character developement, more action. The attack in Helm's Deep is awesome.

Adaptation is a movie for people that see a lot of movies. Interestingly unique with plot twists.
