Which method did you found out worked best for you on syncfusion's site? There are three methods that they recommend.

My initial problem was that the ALIGNMENT property no longer worked when I defined each column. What I realized afterwards was that the code in the PAINT method used DRAWSTRING, so I needed to set the alignment as one of the DRAWSTRING parameters.
