That the problem I have to deal all day of my life. Every time you open a report if you are using windows and have more than one printer setup you need to select the printer and select the form that you want to use for this report before save the report otherwise you can save the current printer selection after you saved and also the default paper select for this specific printer. I find out if you did not include the report in the project is much easy to control that type of problem. So start creating report out of the project and install then in a separate file.
