Can't please everyone. Know that. The tongue in cheek stuffs and things that don't fall into 'answering the question' - I KNOW they will not disappear - and I do not feel, really, that they should.

BUT - you original post made me think, and I WONDER if it might be possible to EDIT the title(s) on a reply/response and still keep the threaded backlink. Probably have to ask Michel if it's possible without messing up too much inner workings / hidden mechanisms ...
