There is an old saying in public relations that says, "All publicity is good publicity." The saying is suggesting that as long as you get your name in the media, that's what people will remember. So, even if someone says something that is not quite accurate or even untrue, people will often just remember the reference to the name and forget the "facts" surrounding the publicity. I think that's probably what Eric was saying.

I can't agree with you more about Russ Swall. He is one of the highest caliber, professional, selfless, gracious, and generous men I've had the privilege to meet and know. His work for VFP and to bring a quality conference to the midwest in the Spring may bring some benefit to him and Vision Data Solutions--and it should--but, the benefit to many of us is a far greater good.
