Jeff,

In my tests, it was 9 RI links to the same primary key that caused a problem. In my live database I have a great many more than 9 links over all, but it was only when I reduced the number of links to one particular key to fewer than 9 that it worked. That was both a necessary and sufficient condition to get past the problem.

But I don't have many stored procedures either. It behaves as though the size of the RI procedure has something to do with the problem, but I can't quite pin it down.

Because I reproduced my problem with a third party program for exploring ADO connections, I now believe my problem is with VFPOLEDB and have reported the details to Microsoft via the Web. Of course, unless I want to spend $250 I won't hear anything back from them. I just gotta hope it gets fixed.

By the way, did you see my response to you on the other thread?

...Jim
