I need to rewrite an application that is currently in Clarion for Windows using TPS data files. I plan to do it in C# - this will be my first C# app. Among many concerns is what database to use. Users of this app generally are computer illiterate and are running on mostly marginal equipment. My choices are VFP using OleDb, SQLServer local version, or CodeBase. Our support staff needs to be able to edit data over the phone which makes me inclined toward CodeBase in Foxpro format or using a VFP DBC file. CodeBase apparently has the ability to be directly accessed by C# but I am not sure what is given by that. Any suggestions or shared experiences will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
