Rich, first, thanks for your reply. I am, indeed, capturing these sku's from a handheld (portable) serial reader. I will need to execute some of their vb commands to say to the handheld: "send me the sku's". Would I call a vb program from a Fox exe OR run the commands directly from Fox (ie: calls to the .dll)
