I have a program that is experiencing a slow down under certain conditions. Created in VFP7, the data files and exe are installed on an NT server. It can be started from the server keyboard or either of 2 win98se workstations. If started from the faster workstation, with nothing else running, it will load up in 8 seconds, from the slower, about 15 seconds. However, if it is started from the server, and then a second copy started from the fast workstation, that copy will take 2 minutes to load.

If the workstation starts the program first, then the server will not be slow in loading the second copy.

On the slower workstation, it will still load in 15 seconds, even if the server starts first.

The fast workstation is an Athlon800 wiht 384meg ram.
