1. I see that by default, an underlying table will be opened exclusive, though that can be turned off. That does not seem appropriate.

2. Elsewhere, it states that a data source(table or view) can only be associated with one cursor at a time. Currently, a table can be opened in the same data environment a number of times with a different alias, or open in different forms. So just what does this restriction mean?

Is anyone able to comment on these issues.
