I upgraded my Windwos ME to Windows XP home. Everything went well it seems. I do have one problem. The sound card no longer works or is recognized. Since I got the PC from Gateway, i down loaded the new driver and it seems to install but the sound still does not work. Is there something else i need to do to get it to work? It says the devide is working properly when I look at teh properties. I was also wondering if something was not installed when I installed Windows Xp home. Should I run the installation again?
