Hi Don,

I'm sorry, I started to refine my message after I re-read your post, but got distracted. I had a vague idea about two textboxes in the grid and using the appropriate one, but I haven't thought it through yet...

We're doing some Data Entry in grid too. Actually, just modifying data (Names standardization, Address Standardization, etc.). I know, it's painful and sometimes cumbersome... Also, are you using views? If yes, then just add a field to your view, so it would work.

Otherwise, I believe, the problem was discussed here already, we just need to search...
