I feel the best advice I have given to my son and daughter is to always try to do your best. Even the places I have left have given me great references. I always respect others and myself. Never burn a bridge. One place called me back three times and I returned to help them.

Another thing I insist upon doing before I have left any place of employment is to document and finish all work so it can be picked up by others. I like to feel comfortable with myself and what I do. I have worked with others who have stood up, quit and walked out.
