And besides that it might not be possible, the notebook I'm using right now has a 1024x768 resolution this is a physical device limit. If the resolution is lowered it looks like crud because the pixels enlarge, if the resolution is increased the screen becomes a logical viewport onto the total display making it hugely annoying to use.
