I'm with you 100%. But, I have been told to do it. It's one of those square fillers toward becoming CMM Level II certified. It's hard to believe that that with all the object programming being done these days that the CMM community hasn't found a better way to deal with this. Maybe there is. I'll keep hunting and pass along whatever I find.
