One hole in Internet Explorer allowed virus masquerading as ".wav" files to "execute" and then infect Clients visiting particular web sites.

Think about that the next time you hear a "tune" while surfing ...

A quick Shift-Delete is my solution to viruses. Also, I always err on the side of caution, and if I am not certain of the source, it goes as well. Have I ever been caught? The answer till now is 'No'. I also use (and prefer) Eudora as my client software. It tends to be less automated than Outlook 2K, although I keep O2K on my machine for development. Eudora also has other benefits.
