We are printing from a DOS application to a USB port based Inkjet printer in Win 2000. We have NET USED LPT1: to the shared printer. It worked fine for about a month. Now, a blank page is ejected instead of the printable matter.

If we look at the Print jobs for that printer, the job appears there with size > 5K, but the whole job disappears as soon as printing starts ( which is a blank page ). Usually, the job is spooled to the printer in chunks of data ( depending on the printer buffer capacity ).

With the same configuation the printing was working fine for the past 1 month.
