In order to annoy them with their choice, I choose C# instead of pure VB. :-) Well hell, I have a number of flavors to choose from, I might as well choose one that is brand new so that I am in the same boat as every other C# programmer.

I chose C# (one of the same reasons as Bonnie - VB.NET was way too verbose and I kept getting VFP/VB 6.x and VB.NET syntax confused). Also, I had been playing with C++ and liked the idea that C# was similar to it and Java.
I'm using C# for everything I've done (no real productions apps, though). I've mainly been playing with ASP.NET so far.

Not as far as I know.
