Len;

When you introduce a browser into the equation all bets are off! :)

In my previous life I was an electronics engineer. In 1990 a fellow engineer wrote a technical manual titled "The RS-232 Standard". Now anyone who is an engineer or even familiar with RS-232 realizes that it is really a subject close to chaos. It turned out that the term “Standard” was meant to be a joke by the author to get your attention and from there he went into all the “flavors” of what could be done and why you would want to do it. The title still makes me laugh.

I made a little breakout box for RS-232 that I used when setting up or trouble shooting. What a life savior! It is truly amazing what some people will do to create a circuit board or assembly or how a cable was made.
