For a variety of reasons - mainly my clients are small businesses who just want a simple file server and find Windows 2k server too complex. Anti virus and backup software has to be 'server' editions. Personally I don't like server although I have installed it for 3 clients who were too big to be using Win2k pro as a file sharer.
