Hi all,
I have setup a Win2k server to accept incoming connections via modem and for the various remote workstations dialling in to be assigned IP by the DHCP so that I could schedule data to be transferred from the workstations to the server.
On the server, a web server is run.
The workstations will call the Windows shell to call up the server via IE.
How do I fix the IP address of the server so that I could fix the URL for the server? e.g to call the server by calling windows shell and passing "http://x.x.x.x" where x is the IP.
Thanks in advance.
