Hey Tracy (and Brad),
took me to find some time to tinker with my oFrm1.Show error 45, but the fog begins to clear up.

Caption evaluation (???) doesn´t seem to be a problem, but this one gives me an ungut feelin´:

I got some public arrays as controlSource / rowSource for disabled text / listbox controls. VFP8 all of a sudden throws the above error.

The weird thing is: When I add any of the arrays that are used as source to the debugger Watch, VFP8 doesn´t throw the error any more!???

If someone could please follow up on this in the thread I started (752620), cuz it´s different from Tracy´s problem.
