Call me a masochist, but I use the Windows API to do serial port communications... Wasn't terribly happy when I had to rewrite my code when converting from Win16 to Win32. This wasn't too different from when I had to convert code from DOS to Win16... Dreading what might happen when Win64 or Win128 rolls around.
