Although being an existing user of VFP, I personally would not benefit from a demo version, but I think that having a Demo version would be a good thing that might actually grow the user base of VFP by exposing its ease of use, great qualities and flexibility to a wider audience.

Unfortunately, based on the marketing (or lack there of) it is obvious that MS has absolutely no interest in growing the existing user base for VFP. Considering that the "target" market is already using VFP, and MS backa$$wards marketing and EULA's, even if they did produced a DEMO, you probably would have to prove that you are a licensed user of VFP to be able to download and try the demo;<)
