I have a system which works on a database which is located on a file server.
The system also have a local copy on the local disk. The difference is that the files on the local system aren't updated very often due to the fact that these are large databases. So i only need to use the databases on the local disk for emergencies only(ie - When the connection with the server fails)

My problem is that i open the form which contains the tables looking a path on the server. Now when the connection with server fails in need to close the form and open the same form but this time with the paths looking a the local hard disk. The problem is that when i try to close the first form it gives me an error 'Error Reading file' and i cannot continue anymore.

How can i manage to do this without giving me these errors.
