In a case like this it's up to you to do the necessary detective work involved (finding out what video cards, printer drivers, etc.) are involved. Find the similarities.

MSKB#Q95232 has a list of known problem video drivers. MSKB#Q183522 has a fix for certain problems with printer drivers.

>Do you know specifically what was fixed in vfp6 sp3 ? Since vfp5 seems to work just fine on other customer's winxp or other OS such as win98, ME, win2000..

Lot's of stuff, and there was some additional funcitonality. It's really hard to say.

>Another observation is that some say it happens after a Save operation. This is a multi-user application and teh Save does a TRANSACTION where tables are in "Optimistic Buffer Mode". That may have something to do with the crashes on WinXP.

There was a recent thread on how this is fixed in VFP 8.0. 8.0 has terrific support for XP themes, BTW. However, if you have to deal with a number of different OSes, upgrading may not be practical for you.

>But, if it is indeed a Printer/Video driver issue, then how would I know which Driver to use in order to fix the problem ?

The Microsoft supplied drivers would be your best bet.
George
