However, it should be noted the reason they are called DeskNotes is that they look and feel like a Notebook, but the internal components, (processor, memory), are desktop or workstation equivialant, not the weak sister Mobile Processors and low profile memory.

Thanks for the info. The battery issue does not bother me because I really need a desktop system that I can easily take to a client site. I am glad there are users with good experience with these units.
