I have on my local PC Windows 2000 and IE 6.02.8...
It shows Action canceled no page to display...
Since it's not cross-browser supported, I can not use it anyway. I want something bullet-proof.
Please, also check, if you received an e-mail from me. It's more important at that moment for me, than Alert...
I'm wondering, why such function was not yet implemented? It looks like a typical requirement for me...

>Maybe we're not expecting the same results - exactly what are you expecting - I get a modal dialog box, with the word Text centred & an OK button directly below, with a title "My Text - Web Page...". Very much similar to what I get using alert().

>This PC uses IE5.5, Win95 (my company hasn't got around to upgrading yet, it's not my choice). The other PC I tested on was IE6 & Win98 (again, not my choice). The MS website (original link I gave you) makes no mention of not working with recent windows versions.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
