Jim;

I could be wrong but I do not recall President Bush saying, anything like “PROOF of WMD presence and Al-Quaida relationship BEFORE they strike, AS HE SAID HE WOULD”. However, that does not mean that he did not say it.

What I do recall is GWB saying we knew where the WMD were located, two weeks after the inspectors entered Iraq. The inspectors requested U.S. information and we refused to give it. To my knowledge we still have not told the inspectors where the WMD are located.

The media did cite two Al-Qaeda members who visited Iraq some time ago at different intervals, and that was taken as a direct link to Al-Qaeda. I think one went for medical treatment. Surely if I have one egg, I must have thousands. That is a leap of confidence. Next we will hear if you know a Muslim or have ever read or heard the word Muslim, you are a member of Al-Qaeda.
