That's what I refer to as VFP2, only I am using a separate instance of VFP. I have to do this, because when I click on the VFP desktop (and the form does not have the focus) then it writes the change to disk. What I am looking for an explanation of is why it treats the .T. and .F. differently. If I have to leave the row to write the change .T. to disk, then I should have to do the same for the .F.
Also, why should I have to move off the row, I am not using buffering so everything should be effective immediately. This is on a local PC, so I don't have to worry about multi-user problems.
