For the records, ...

msdart.dll was the problem!

I have completly removed SQL Server and re-install it (and re-applied SP3) and now everything is fine!

>>In VS.Net Pro, from the Server Explorer, when I click the "Connect To Database" button, shouldn't I see a dialog giving me the choice of connection to another source (like Access, ...)? I don't see that dialog!

>>Also, if I open the Server Explorer, then Servers, then my computer name. I then right-click on SQL Servers and select "Register SQL Server instance". In the dialog, the servername is already properly filled with my computer name and I leave the Instance name blank to access the local SQL Server. After clicking OK, a node appears under SQL Servers and it has a small red x on the icon. When I try to click on it, I am required to login. Whatever I try, it always fail with this error: The specified procedure could not found.

>>Any ideaa!
