Well the MAIN thing was that the process described that I would be registered by the seller at MSDN and that all stuff would be coming directly from MSDN. I also looked at the other buyer's comments and ALL sounded most pleased and stated outright (some cases anyway) that stuff DID come from MSDN dierctly.
Nevertheless, I was worried UNTIL I got my MSDN notification and was able to DOWNLOAD from the MSDN Subscriber site.
Maybe I was lucky. I've NEVER bought through e-bay before and frankly suspect it will be a long time before I do again.
>I got my personal copy of Visual Studio 6 with "an e-bay cheaper than could be believed deal" several years ago. Unfortunately, I suspect it's pirated, so I don't use it anymore. :( What did you do to ensure it was the real deal before you bought it? I don't trust those deals anymore because of that.

>>Well the ONLY reason that I went the MSDN route was because it was an e-bay cheaper than could be believed deal. My figuring is that it gives me 'perpetual' "like new" (my term) development licenses for all kinds of products including VFP8. I'll likely have to buy full VFP9 when it comes out, assuming after expiration of my MSDN subscription at Feb. next year.
