there have not been 'thousands' of bombs dropped on Baghdad. I'd guess less than a few hundred.
There have, apparently, been thousands of bombs dropped, but Baghdad is only one of countless targets. And casualty reports from those areas are unknowable at this time (at least by coalition TV stations).
