Most of the work I do is within the city limits, or close by. Travel may take 1/2 - 1 hour. I try to include this in my hourly rate, rather than charge for travel time separately. That is, if the client is farther away, I try to charge a higher hourly rate, or insist on having sessions of a minimum of "x" hours.

The situation would be quite different if I had to visit clients in other cities.
