I apologize, I missed that in the original post.

That being said, we have seen multiple cases where customers had claimed to have disabled AV software but it was not really disabled. I would look in the Task Manager processes list, sort by CPU descending, and look at what processes are showing CPU usage when you see the slowdown. If you only see VFP7 (or your VFP7 app), it's not likely to be AV software related. Also note that it could be AV software on the client or the server.
