Hi Michael,
I forgot to mention phpPgAdmin in my previous post. It is the most popular GUI administrative tool for postgres. If you do a web search, you should find sites where it can be downloaded. The most current stable version of it is version 2.4. I gave beta version 3.0 a look the other day. It's really nice, but it did not yet have delete records functionality.
I like phpPgAdmin better than pgadminII; although, I use pgadminII also. If your confortable with Linux, that would be my first choice as to where to install phpPgAdmin. Otherwise, I would install it in windows. It has a browser based interface just like phpMyAdmin. It will run equally well on either window's IIS or Linux's Apache web server.
Also, you might try "pgaccess" which run under linux. It has some nice features. To bring "pgaccess" up in your Linux desktop, just type "pgaccess" in the command window as user "root". If initiating it as an ordinary user, you may need to do a "locate" and then include the fully qualified path in you command.
