Very extreme but that is what politics breeds. We also have a problem in San Francisco, where demonstrators block streets, people getting to and from work and cause problems with the Bay Bridge and Freeways. Several hundred false emergency phone calls were received within a few hours as just one example. If you had a medical emergency in the downtown area you would not have gotten assistance.
The protestors also assaulted people, damaged cars and property. The police arrested about 2000 people and basically, all were released and not charged, even those that assaulted policemen.
It is unfortunate that protestors have taken such action in San Francisco, as this is one of the cities in our nation that is against the war. In the past when we have had protests (we have a very long history of this) people did not disrupt the lives of others.
