Hope people will not label me again as anti-american, because of my posts. As you can see I did not append ANY comments, just puting as the title of message the news headline and a link. Just that.

I found that strange because it recalled me those times (in the '60s) of the Vietnam war, the protests, people running away from drafting to Canada, Europe etc.

Would you please tell me if there is some relationship between Republicans and the state of Oregon? I'm trying to stablish (learn about) relationships in what I read, internal US politics and the units of the US federation.
