That sort of things happen in the U.S. too???

Unfortunately, this is a very common sight in Bolivia.

For instance, in riots in February, ca. 20 people died - mainly policemen (there were fights between police and army). Lootings were part of the situation, too.

In several other cases, people have been killed in riots.
