The UN would send an ultimatum to Sadam to leave imediatelly the government. The terms of such ultimatum should be negociated with the Arab League, as well. If he denies UN could use military forces for that purpose. I believe it would be easier to the Arab world accept such arrangement conducted by the UN than the way things are going on now, on a basis of "who'll be the next?".

Many countries are seeing the US as a threat, some say even like (or greater) than Sadam.

Think it could be added a possibility to stop the massive murdering that is occuring and that will occur, IMHO.

Am I being too naive? Perhaps.
