Actually I see no problem. Think the germans, french (their aerospace program is very interesting and cheaper that of the US), russian (brazilian pilots found the offered russian MIGs, to the brazilian air force, really supperb), chinese, danish, swedish, italians (incredible cars!)... will gladly support this idea :)

Without US government pressure over the brazilian government, competition will be greatly improved and the brazilian people would be able to get more and better with lower expenditure of US$ (that could turn into Euros).
