Am I misunderstanding you again Fernando? I thought you wanted all countries to stay out of the business of other countries? That means that no country would sell arms to any other countries as arms are not an economical necessity but strictly for self-defense and military action which you stated was the sole responsibility of the host nation, correct? If that is the case, then Brazil should not buy or sell arms period. Economic necessities are a diffferent matter entirely.

Oh yeah, you could still probably get VFP from China...

>Actually I see no problem. Think the germans, french (their aerospace program is very interesting and cheaper that of the US), russian (brazilian pilots found the offered russian MIGs, to the brazilian air force, really supperb), chinese, danish, swedish, italians (incredible cars!)... will gladly support this idea :)

>Without US government pressure over the brazilian government, competition will be greatly improved and the brazilian people would be able to get more and better with lower expenditure of US$ (that could turn into Euros).

>PS. The only concern I'll have is where to buy VFP?
