You've described the way that I try to handle my messages.

One thing I'd like to see - for the VFP-specific categories (i.e. not for Chatter or Contracts... or product-specific categories) - is a standard 'header' in the body of the message (or elsewhere in a message, if appropriate) that lets the originator specify things like VFP version and SP level, Workstation OS, network OS, etc. I think this would help to "remind" people to provide as much information as possible when initially submitting a problem or question or comment.

>>I noticed that there is still a VFP7 category as well as a VFP8 category. As VFP8 will be released shortly, are the majority of the users still using VFP6? Should all issues for VFP7 still be posted in the VFP7 category and not by VFP category (like Forms, coding, etc)? If so, I apologize for not doing this. We are using VFP8 now and I'm assuming ALL issues for VFP8 should only go in the VFP8 category?

I would post anything related to VFP8 in VFP8 category because it'll get more attention at this point. However if you're using VFP8 but your question isn't directly related to VFP8, you may post in any category you find appropriate.
