>I'll give IIF() a try, don't think so that it may be compulsory, the thing that bugs me is that DynamicInputMask becomes blank when populated by the contained textbox.init(). Is there any way that the column knows that it is supposed to get the inputmask from the textbox as someone mentioned that the textbox inits first and then the column, probably that is the reason it goes blank at runtime?!?

The way I understand it, Column.TextBox.InputMask and the Column.InputMask are two quite different things. The first controls the presentation when the TextBox has the focus, the other, when it doesn't. You may need to simply place the same InputMask for both. If you leave the TextBox.InputMask blank, it may use the InputMask from the Column, but I am not sure right now.
